A book series by Ar/ge Kunst
Novellas is a series of books published by Bolzano’s Ar/ge Kunst about collective forms of cultural production. Specifically, it explores how individual acts of imagination and storytelling can become collective when shared in specific contexts. A new short novel will be published with each new exhibition, a pocket-sized publication printed in Italian, German and English. Printed in one color on the inside, each volume features a different finish on the cover. For the first book in the series, the curators translated extracts from “The Special Court”, a collection of surreal and ironic short stories that Burmese activist Htein Lin wrote during his years of imprisonment in Myanmar.
